நம்முடைய உருவம் இன்னதென்று அவர் அறிவார்; நாம் மண்ணென்று நினைவுகூருகிறார்.
கர்த்தர் நம்முடைய சிருஷ்டிகர்; அவரே நம்மை உருவாக்கினவர். ஆகவே அவருக்கு நன்றாகவே தெரியும் நாம் யார் என்று. நம்மைக் குறித்து தவறாக அவர் நினைக்க வாய்ப்பே இல்லை; நாம் மண்ணென்று அவர் அறிந்திருக்கிறார். மண்ணென்று அறிந்திருந்தாலும், நம்மை எவ்வளவாய் நேசிக்கிறார்! தம்முடைய சொந்த குமாரனாகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை தந்தருளும்படி எவ்வளவாய் அன்பு கூர்ந்திருக்கிறார். அவர் அன்பு எவ்வளவு பெரியது!!!
For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust.
Since God is our Creator, He knows who we are. There are no mistaken identities here; He remembers that we are dust. And, yet He loves us. And He loves us so much, He gave His only Son for us. How amazing is His love!
கிரயத்துக்குக் கொள்ளப்பட்டீர்களே; ஆகையால் தேவனுக்கு உடையவைகளாகிய உங்கள் சரீரத்தினாலும் உங்கள் ஆவியினாலும் தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்துங்கள்.
ஒரு கிறிஸ்தவனாக, என்னை என்ன விலைக்கொடுத்து, பிதாவாகிய தேவன் மீட்டுக்கொண்டார் என்பதை நான் மறக்கவே கூடாது. எனக்காக கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவையே மீட்கும் பொருளாக தேவன் தந்தார் என்பதை நான் எப்போதும் நினைவில் கொள்ளவேண்டும். அதை மறந்து விடுவதால் தான், என் வாழ்க்கையில் தேவனை அதிகமாய் மகிமைப்படுத்தாமல் இருக்கிறேன். என்னை மீட்கும்படி, இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் சரீரம் எவ்வளவாய் அடிக்கப்பட்டது என்பதை என் கண்களுக்கு முன்னால் வைத்திருந்தால், என் சரீரத்தினால் தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்துவேன். இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் ஆவி எவ்வளவாய் பாடுபட்டது என்று நான் உணர்ந்தேனானால், என் ஆவியினால் தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்தாமல் இருக்கவே முடியாது.
என் நல்ல பிதாவே, பாவிகளில் நீச பாவியாகிய என்னை மீட்கும்பொருளாக நீர் தந்த உம்முடைய குமாரன்மேல் என் கண்கள் எப்போதும் பதிந்து இருக்கும்படி அநுக்கிரகம் செய்யும். உம்முடையவைகளாகிய என் சரீரத்தினாலும், என் ஆவியினாலும் எப்போதும் உம்மை மகிமைப்படுத்தும்படிக்கு, என் மீட்பராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவையே நோக்கிப்பார்க்க உதவி செய்யும். இயேசுவின் நாமத்தில், பிதாவே, ஆமென்.
For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
As a Christian, I must never forget the price at which I was bought by God. It is my duty to constantly remember the Ransom that was paid for me. It is because I keep forgetting the price that my Lord Jesus Christ paid, I do not glorify God in my life. If only my eyes are fixed on the beatings that the body of Jesus Christ took to redeem me, I will glorify God in my body; if only I realize how much the spirit of Jesus Christ was broken, I will glorify God in my spirit.
Oh Lord my God, help me to keep before my eyes always, the Ransom that You provided for me, a wretched sinner. Help me to focus on Jesus Christ, Your Son and my Saviour, so that I glorify You in my body and in my spirit, for they belong to You. In the Name of Jesus, I ask. Amen.
God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?
On this LORD’s day, let us have more faith and more understanding than what Balaam had about our Sovereign LORD. God is a not a man, that He should lie. Nor is He a son of man, that He should repent. If He has said, He will surely do it. If He has spoken a promise to you, He will make it good. Praise Him, through our Saviour Jesus Christ.
பொய் சொல்ல தேவன் ஒரு மனிதன் அல்ல; மனம்மாற அவர் ஒரு மனுபுத்திரனும் அல்ல; அவர் சொல்லியும் செய்யாதிருப்பாரா? அவர் வசனித்தும் நிறைவேற்றாதிருப்பாரா?
இந்த கர்த்தரின் நாளன்று, நம்முடைய விசுவாசமும், நாம் கர்த்தரை அறிந்திருக்கிற அறிவும், கள்ள தீர்க்கதரிசியாகிய பிலேயாமை காட்டிலும் அதிகமாக இருக்கட்டும்.
நாம் ஆராதிக்கிற தேவன் சத்தியமுள்ள தேவன்; பொய்யுரையாத தேவன். மனம்மாற அவர் மனிதனின் பிள்ளையும் அல்ல. கர்த்தர் நமக்கு ஒரு காரியம் செய்வேன் என்று சொன்னாரானால், அதை நிச்சயம் செய்து முடிப்பார். அவர் வசனம் அவரண்டையில் வெறுமனே திரும்பாது. நம்முடைய ஆண்டவரும், இரட்சகருமாகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் நாமம் – தேவனுடைய வார்த்தை என்பதே. விசுவாசித்து, மகிமைப்படுத்துவோம்.
என் ஆபத்துநாளில் எனக்கு எதிரிட்டு வந்தார்கள்; கர்த்தரோ எனக்கு ஆதரவாயிருந்தார்.
1. ஒவ்வொரு தேவ பிள்ளைக்கும் ஆபத்து நாள் என்று ஒன்று உண்டு. அது உலக முடிவில் வரும் நியாயத்தீர்ப்பின் நாள் அல்ல. இந்த உலகத்தில் எல்லாருக்கும் வருகிறது போல ஆபத்துகள் தேவனுடைய பிள்ளைகளுக்கும் வரும்.
2. அந்த ஆபத்து நாளில் நமக்கு எதிரிடையாக ஒரு கூட்டம் கிளம்பும். ஒருவேளை நமக்குத் தெரியாமல் இருக்கலாம், ஆனால் அந்த ஆபத்து நாளில் தான் உண்மையான நண்பர்கள் யார், எதிரிகள் யார் என்று நமக்குத் தெரிய வரும்.
3. அந்த நாளில் கர்த்தரே, கர்த்தாதி கர்த்தரே, சர்வ வல்லமையுள்ள கர்த்தரே, நமக்கு ஆதரவாய் இருப்பார்.
ஆகவே என் ஆபத்து நாளைக் குறித்து நான் கலங்குவதில்லை. எனக்கு எதிரிட்டு வரும் பகைஞர்களைக் கண்டு நான் பயப்படுவதில்லை. அந்த பகைஞர்களுக்கு முன்பாக, எனக்கு ஆபத்து வரவேண்டிய நாளில், கர்த்தர், கர்த்தர் மாத்திரம் எனக்கு ஆதரவாயிருக்கிறார் என்று எல்லாரும் அறியப் போகிறார்கள். அல்லேலூயா!
They confronted me in the day of my calamity, but the LORD was my support.
1. There is a day of calamity for every believer. It is not the Day of Judgment. But in this world, there is a day of calamity for us.
2. On that day, our enemies will surely confront us. If we think that no one will ever confront us, because we are Christians, then we are very wrong. Actually we will be confronted more, because of the very reason – being Christian.
3. But the LORD will be our support. The LORD Almighty Himself will be our support.
So, I am not worried about the day of my calamity. I am not worried about the size of the crowd that gathers to confront me. I am excited that before that crowd, on the day meant for my calamity, God will show that He is, and He alone is, my Support.
தேவன் தமக்குத் தகனபலிக்கான ஆட்டுக்குட்டியைப் பார்த்துக்கொள்வார்.
ஒரு வயதான தகப்பன். அவருடைய ஒரே மகன். 3-நாட்கள் மனதளவில் போராட்டத்தோடு ஒரு கொடிய பயணம். அந்த பயணத்தின் முடிவில் காத்திருப்பது இருதயத்தை உடைக்கக் கூடிய ஒரு தியாகம். மோரியா மலையின் அடிவாரத்தில் இருக்கச் சொன்ன இரண்டு வேலைக்காரர்களுக்கும் ஒரு கேள்வி உண்டு. ஆனால் வயதான தங்கள் எஜமானனிடம் கேட்க தைரியம் இல்லை. எங்கே அப்படி ஒரு கேள்வியை யாராவது கேட்டுவிடுவார்களோ என்ற பயத்தில் அவர் இருக்க, கடைசியில் யார் கேட்கக் கூடாதோ, அந்த வாலிப மகன் கேட்டே விடுகிறான்: தகனபலிக்கு ஆட்டுக்குட்டி எங்கே??? துக்கத்தில் நொறுங்கிக்கொண்டிருக்கும் இருதயத்தில் இருந்து விசுவாச வார்த்தைகள் வெடித்துக் கிளம்புகிறது: தேவன் தமக்குத் தகனபலிக்கான ஆட்டுக்குட்டியைப் பார்த்துக்கொள்வார். ஆம், கர்த்தர் பார்த்துக்கொண்டார். முதலில் மோரியா மலையில். இரண்டாவது கல்வாரி மலையில். கர்த்தர் பார்த்துக்கொண்டார்.
வாழ்க்கையின் போராட்டங்கள் மிகுதியாகி உன்னால் சமாளிக்க முடியாது என்ற நிலைமை ஏற்படும்போது, கல்வாரியை நோக்கிப் பார். எல்லா திசைகளிலும் நெருக்கப்படும்போது, கண்களை உயர்த்தி, சிலுவையின் மேல் உன் கண்களைப் பதிய வை. பாவச்சேற்றினில் சிக்குண்டு, தேவனின் சமுகத்திற்கு வரமுடியாது என்ற நிலையில் தவிக்கும்போது, இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை, சிலுவையில் அறையப்பட்ட அவரையே நோக்கிப்பார். உண்மையான அன்புக்கு ஏங்குகிறாயோ? தம் ஒரேபேறான குமாரனையே தந்தருளுமளவுக்கு உன்னை உண்மையாய் நேசித்த பரலோக பிதாவை நோக்கிப்பார். அவர் யெஹோவா யீரே – எல்லாம் பார்த்துக்கொள்வார்.
God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering.
The aging father. His only son. A 3-day arduous journey. At the end of the journey, awaits the heart-wrenching sacrifice. The servants who were left at the bottom of Mount Moriah were probably wondering, “But what about the lamb for the burnt offering?”, but they were afraid to ask the patriarch. And finally the innocent son asks that one question the father was afraid to answer. Yet from his raging heart, comes these words of faith – God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering. And He did then at Mount Moriah. And He did again at Calvary.
When the struggles of this life are too much for you to bear, look at the Calvary. When you are pressed from all directions and you have nowhere to turn, turn to the Cross. When you are not able to come to the LORD because of your sins, look at Jesus Christ, Him crucified. When you are in need of true love, look at God our Father, Who loved us so much, He gave up His only Son for us. HE is Jehovah Jireh – the LORD Who provides.
